You are Absolutely Right Linda!
Linda, WOW!!! so simple and so true...thank you for your comment today, "offer every product, every time, to every customer"! Check out Linda's comments by clicking on the "Recent Comments" link, Linda Lylick on Feel Free to Make a Comment! 1/4/2008, in the sidebar to the lower left. She offers great wisdom from her experience!
I still remind myself of this today because sometimes I get sloppy and prejudge the customers wants and needs. Imagine that!!!! At times I am completely surprised when a customer says "Yes" at the first offer of one of our products be it life or accident and health insurance on their payment; warranty; or protection package treatments. No further explanation nor objections to overcome, just a simple "Yes". Everybody has a different background with different experiences and we just don't know what will appeal to the customer in front of us and what won't. That's why it is so critical, as you said Linda, offer every product, every time, to every customer. Great advice for new business managers and a vital reminder for those seasoned professionals!
I must admit that I thought this blog would have a continual dialogue and when a comment was made it would post in the body of the blog, showing as the most recent post. I have spoken to the hosting company and they claim that is not the case. I will do more research about this and if there is a way to have a continual stream of conversation, I will make it happen. Anyone who knows more about this than I do, please let me know.
